History
The calling to serve Care Net was given to Joan Ransom as the direction based on God’s word
acknowledging life: The word of the Lord came to me saying, before I formed you in the womb
I knew you, before you were born I set you apart. - Jeremiah 1:4-5

Republican Party Secretary, Joan Ransom was provoked to take action resulting in an organization called Black Georgians for Life, an affiliate of Georgia Right to Life |
| 2001 – |
National Representative from Care Net met with local leadership |
| 2003 – |
Care Net Atlanta was incorporated as a non-profit |
| 2007 – |
Moved into first office, strategically located in downtown Atlanta and formally Planned Parenthood |

Hired Executive Director Shealeta Reed |
| 2008 – |
Added two more paid positions part-time and opened doors to Clients |
| 2009 – |
Applied and accepted into Ministry Ventures Certification program and added second fulltime employee |
